Description:
Up for sale is a highly desirable, late-production Naim CDX2 CD Player in great working condition.
For peace of mind regarding the laser lifespan and internal tech, the serial number is 376047, which officially dates this unit to 2014. This makes it the upgraded CDX2.2 variant, featuring the superior updated transport mechanism and a switchable digital output.
The mechanism tracks flawlessly, reads the CD index instantly, and plays beautifully with that classic, PRaT-driven Naim signature sound.
The manual drawer arm glides perfectly in and out without catching.
What’s Included:
- Naim CDX2.2 Head Unit (Serial No. 376047)
- Original Naim Remote Control
- Original Round Black Link Plug (installed on the rear—required for standalone operation)
- Original Naim Magnetic CD Puck
- Power Cable
- Bonus: A 1-metre stereo pair of AudioQuest Truth Opal X3 directional RCA cables to connect straight to your amplifier. Valued $150-$250.
Condition Notes (Please Read):
To be completely transparent with fellow audiophiles, please note the following minor cosmetic points:
- Display Window: There are some minor “bubble” artifacts behind the right side of the front display filter where the track numbers show. This is a very common Naim cosmetic quirk caused by the plastic filter contacting the glass over time. It is purely cosmetic and does not affect the operation or legibility of the text.
- Rear Label: The white factory sticker on the back showing the serial number has faded to a slight yellow hue from age/UV exposure. The text and serial number remain fully legible.
- Packaging: I do not have the original factory box or paperwork.
I am not offering postage. I am offering free personal delivery/drop-off directly to your door anywhere within Greater Sydney to guarantee it arrives in perfect, working condition.
Cash on delivery or cleared PayID transfer prior to handoff preferred. Inspections welcome if picking up.
